Sustanon 250 is an oil-based injectable steroid. It contains four different testosterone esters, which have a synergistic effect. It is designed to act since the first administration over a long period of time. Propionate and phenylpropionate esters are used immediately and the isocaproate and decanoate esters are used more slowly, remaining active in the body for 2-3 weeks. This is a big advantage compared to testosterone enanthate and cypionate which have a much shorterlife span and don't maintain stady testosterone levels for such a long time.
Like all testosterone based steroids it is highly anabolic and androgenic. It is used for bulking, bringing serious gains in muscle mass and strenght. As all testosterone it does aromatize but the side effects are less dramatic then testosterone enanthate and cypionate. At least at first. As the steroid slowly accumulates the side effects will catch up.
Low doses of Nolvadex and Proviron cand help manage the estrogenic side effects. Arimidex can also be used (or other aromatase inhibitors) but is more expensive and can negatively alter HDL cholsterol.
Sustanon 250 is not good for cutting, because of the water retention. Although active in the body for so long itmust be administerd approximately every 10 days. The doses range from 250 mg once every 10 days up to 1000 mg per week.
